Nothing to do.. So come here to blog blog a bit.. Hee..

On Friday after my work, i went out with my bf.. As usual, we went to IMM for shopping cos he needs to get some stuff from Daiso and Giant.. I think i very unlucky lor.. My heels nearly broke off.. Walk until my legs super pain la.. My dad come to IMM to pick us up and give a lift to my bf.. My dad and i then went to boon lay hawker centre (usual hangout place for my dad for a cup of coffee since i was not even born yet)..

At the hawker centre, one of my dad's friend was trying to talk to an "Ang Mo" but his English was very limited.. So he ask for my help whether i can speak English anot.. Of course i can speak English la.. Kinda of lame question to me.. I was their translator for several mins before the Ang Mo started to have a conversation with me.. Then he had a friend who come along with me, join in the conversation..

In tht roughly 20 mins conversation, i got to know tht the Ang mo was from England and his friend tht looks like an Indian was from India.. The Ang mo English is very slang lor.. Luckily, i meet quite a number of English ppl before and had friends from England.. So, not so bad.. At least, i can understand abt 90% of wat he was talking abt.. As for the Indian guy, he don't have the typical Indian slang where they usually tends to roll their tongue.. They were both here for working here to build ship or boats.. (something like tht) They will be in Singapore for a month then return to their country for another month.. then back to Singapore again.. And this cycle continues till their project is complete.. I asked them isn't it tiring to travel to and fro every other month.. They told mi, it's their job!! (*Smile*)

We talk abt women nowadays are getting more daring in wat the do and are more willing to speak up for their rights.. (Am I right, ladies?) The Indian guy told mi he got a younger sister of the same age as me who got married to a husband tht she chosen herself.. Cos she dare to speak up for herself.. He said tht this type of thing will not happen in India 5 -6 yrs ago.. Cos their marriage of the gals is plan by their parents.. (*Just like olden days of Singapore's Chinese Culture*) where some of our grandparents got married by the arrangement of their parents.. And a very interesting thing is the official legal age for Singaporeans is 21 for both female and male but in India, the official legal age is 18 for female and 22 for male.. (a bit strange rite?) So, i ask why is it so.. The Indian man told mi because the percentage of the female is higher than the male in their country now..

Another stupid thing.. The Ang mo once heard from someone tht women over 21 yrs old are not allowed to vote in elections.. (*I wondered who is tht stupid guy who told him this*) Since when women are not allowed to vote?? Of course we can!! I told him tht it is not true at all.. We are allowed to vote as we are both treated equally..

And then they both bomb mi with questions... Ai yo!! So Stress la.. Talking to the both of them.. Plus my dad don't really understand.. I felt a bit bad.. Oh.. As Singapore is a very family oriented country, they ask mi this question which took me some time to think abt it.. The Question is "If one day, your parents disagree with my relationship with my bf and same goes to my bf's family.. Tht is my bf family also disagree of our relationship.. Will I still carry on the relationship and ignore my parents Or i will broke up with him??" After some thoughts.. I answered: "I will broke up with my bf.. The reason being i don't want the both of us to suffer the stress from both family and i don't wish to bring pain to my family.." For some reason, the two foreigners were very happy with my answer and was very proud of my dad to have such a daughter tht they even shake hands with my dad just before we left the hawker centre.. haha.. Kinda of lame.. I thought.. I guess, they might had face such problems with their sisters and daughters.. Tht's y they are happy tht i give them tht answer tht they will not get in the reality.. (*I don't know also.. Tht's my guess*)

On Sat, for don't what reason.. I was very tired.. I sleep like a pig.. And i realli mean sleep like a pig lor.. On Friday night, i turn in abt 11 plus.. Then, on sat, i woke up at 11 plus am for my breakfast cum lunch tht consists of 3 slices of raisin bread.. And back to my bed for an afternoon nap till like 3.30pm.. And woke up to prepare to go for dance..

Dance practice is as usual.. Except for Some "Big Shots" from a clan tht come to take a look at our dance item tht we are going to perform in august.. They may be our sponsors for our costumes for those items.. But nothing is confirm yet..

After the dance, Meet up with my bf to get the Chinese dumplings from him which was home-made by his mum.. Yummy dumplings!! Finally, bought a pair of heels for my work at a discounted price.. Of course may be at discounted price cos it is still GSS!! wahaha.. 20% discount lei..

On Sun, which is today.. I went to my ah ma hse to help her in her preparation for prayers in the morning.. I went to her hse earlier then the time she told to reach.. I thought tht if i go earlier, i can buy her breakfast.. But when i reach, i knock the door for 15 mins and called her number but no one pick up... I thought something had happen to her.. Luckily, it was all my wild thoughts, cos when i called my uncle who stay just a few storeys below.. He told mi tht she had went to the market to get some meat for the prayers later.. I was so happy tht nothing had happen to her.. The most stupidest thing is tht i bought her breakfast.. She too bought back breakfast for mi.. haha.. Then we can't finish.. Haiz..

Today is Father's day, so in the afternoon, we had a gathering with almost all the family members to have a good lunch together.. Estimated people tht attended was ard 24 ppl.. haha..

The meal consisted of streamed fish, shark fin soup, noodles, mayo prawns, vege, sea cucumber and duck, mango chicken and sea coconut with Logan.. Yum Yum!! haha..

After tht, i went to my bf's place where we cooked together.. I remembered the last time when we cooked together was during our secondary school days where we had our F & N (food and nutrition) class.. Where he used to cook and i will wash the dishes cos two will pair as one grp.. We cook some healthily meal of cubed chicken with boiled carrots and potatoes.. Not bad la.. haha..

Then headed to my ah gong hse for some work-out of "dance dance revolution"!! I am better today and broke some of my cousins' records. Hee..

I am tired already after the long blog.. Tml got work.. Got to sleep le.. Nitz..
