My Taiwan Trip!! Eat, Eat eat..

My Taiwan trip was on the 11-15 sept 2207.. The main purpose of going there was to watch WL's mini concert on the second night when we were there.. And of course for eating!! wahaha.. The ppl involved in this trip are my second uncle and auntie , my dad and me.. All expenses paid by my dad!! Muackz!! Thanks daddy!! wahahaha..

Here are Juz some food tht we ate there..

Crab meat noodle soup.. Something like tht..

Mango Ice!! Sweet.. Especially the mango.. Fresh ones orh.. Don't know y there mango so sweet.. But very nice!!

Some side dishes like stewed pork, fried tofu, cabbage, herbal chicken soup and bitter gourd soup.. With rice is super delicious..

Munchy Donuts.. Chewy and not very sweet.. Six different flavors.. Bought from ximending..

Set Lunch for 4 ppl.. Alot rite? Each person gets 3 dishes to choose.. We got rice, noodles, fried rice and soup noodles as main dish.. Fish ball soup, pig's blood soup, green vegw, fried tofu and fried oyster with egg.. Eat until Super full lor.. This is juz for lunch.. Meal eaten at Taipei 101..



That's eight treasure ice.. Speciality in Taiwan.. (*I guess..*) Nice dessert..

Here's a brief and a record for myself on my trip..

Day 1

Took a flight on Jetstar Asia.. I think it is a bit uncomfortable to sit on the flight cos it has little leg space.. The flight took us abt 4 long hrs to reach Taipei international airport.. Then we took a bus tht lasted for abt 40mins to the hotel tht my cousin book for us called NeiJiang Hotel @ ard 7 plus near to 8 in the evening..

We check in and then we come out to have our dinner and walk the night market nearby.. First night of mini shopping.. Nv really buy anything except for food.. I had smelly bean curd.. My favourite!! haha.. the more smelly the better it taste!!

After the night market, we were all very tired and went to bed.. And there's when my horror came!! I was suppose to sleep with my dad.. Because i know he will snore at night, i request to sleep with my aunt who i thought tht she will not snore.. As she also compliant tht his husband snores very loudly.. And it is true!! I heard tht before.. Worse than my dad!! Horrible!! So my aunt and i sleep together where the guy will sleep and snore together.. haha..

Then, when i was abt to fall aslp.. tht's where my nightmare came.. She snored and there were vibrations on the bed as she snore.. I think due to the sound of the snore tht vibrate the bed a little.. Thus, i can't slp until abt 2 plus am.. Sad-ed!! With pandan eyes the next morning..

Day 2

In the morning, my dad compliant to me and my aunt tht my uncle snore very loudly until my dad had to take tissue paper to stuff in his ears in order to sleep.. hahaha.. My dad super cute!!

After our breakfast provided by the hotel, we went to Taipei 101 (the tallest building in the world for now)..

When we reach Taipei 101, we don't know how to go up to the observation level.. Luckily, there was a japanese tour group.. We followed them up.. haha.. Tht's wat my uncle suggested!! We need to purchase tickets to go up to the 89 floor to view the scenery of taipei from the 5th floor..

Wow.. I tell u all the lift is super duper fast!! Going up a few levels within a sec and still have a pretty lift operator tht speak in three different languages: jap, eng and chinese..

Up there, i took several photos of the scenery and tht's me in front of the exhibit of the world fastest elevator.. It goes up 1010m per min.. DAmn fast!!

This is Ximending.. 5 mins walk from my hotel.. Super near.. Juz like bugis street..

At night, we went to EZ5 pub to watch WL mini concert in Taipei.. Look at the 3 old folks looking in to the pub to see WL's rehearsal..

We were quite early for the performance.. So took some time to take some photos outside the pub n tht's me again..

The mini concert started at abt 9.54pm..

And tht's WL Singing!! So kool.. haha..

Him and her after they exchange their album and book.. A bit weird to give a blind a book.. All is for media purpose.. So fake anyway..

Wow!! WL So fortunate to have 2 pretty ladies with him.. haha.. Both were special guests for his mini concert..

Plus tht day was a full house, so i think the mini concert was quite a success!!

Day 3

After meeting WL at his apartment in Taipei, we went to Dan Shui for shopping And this time is really SHOPPING!! ahaha..

We ate all of local delights tht day and walk alot..

Fried Durian?? haha.. Didn't try cos too full le.. But i think it is very interesting..

Me and the Strawberry cum green tea ice-cream.. This is the small one.. The big one is twice the size.. Nv Eat cos too full.. So juz tried the small one..

At the end of the day, here's wat we bought!! Alot Sia!!

Day 4

We we went to the longest underground Shopping Street!! It's abt 3 km long.. There sells many shoes, and clothes.. Plus the machine tht catch dolls.. Super easy to catch.. i got one doll after 2 trys..

After some shopping, we went to Beitou where the hotsprings were located!! We took a 30 mins Mrt there..

We also went to Hotspring Museam to learn a bit about the history there..

Behind me is the hotspring.. The water there can cook eggs!! cos super hot with a temperature of 100 to 110 degree.. See the steam from the water??

Then at night, we went to Shilin night market!! WOW.. The food there is very gd!! Eat and Walk, then Walk and shop, then eat again.. Eat like non stop..

I saw these piggy at the Pet Street there.. Aren't they CUTE??

This cool stall owner throw his crepe in the air.. And his stall is call alibaba crepe stall..

In the night market, We also saw some taiwanese stars who went to shilin night market to promote their new show.. The place is already very crowded like chinese new yr eve's chinatown in Singapore and yet the actor is still wearing a jacket!!

After tht, we went to ximending to shop further.. haha..

Day 5

Last day in Taipei!! We went to the Long Shan Si in the early morning to pray.. Heard tht it is a very old temple.. Inside is very big and the building is very nice!! Very peaceful inside too.. I bought a Pin Ann Fu for QY and also for my whole family..

After tht, we took a Mrt down to Chiang Kia Shek mermorial hall.. The place super big and the walkway is very long!! But beautiful place.. we in to see the exhibits of the first president of Taiwan.. There was also a science exhibition there tht we went in to see..

After tht, we went to Ximending again to do some last min shopping where i saw F.I.R!! So happy!! Ahaha.. And then we were back in Singapore!!
